When I began the drawings for Dragon Rock, I tapped strongly into my childhood obsession with a particularly beloved black and white comic strip.

Thus this particular cell owes a lot to the Okefenokee Swamp. Walt Kelly’s Pogo remains my favourite cartoon reread of all. Which, when you consider the incredible talents out there, is saying quite a lot.

Here’s a link to the page for Pulp Lit. I love being part of editing and illustrating this well-regarded short fiction magazine. (BTW you can get the graphic novel short Dragon Rock in Issue 3 of Pulp Literature.) Thanks for considering subscribing to Year 2, issues 5 through 8, of Pulp Literature!
